Azeroth

This is how Azeroth looks like from space.

Azeroth is the main planet in the game World of Warcraft, here most of the stories, wars and more, on this planet you can find different races divided between the factions of The Horde and The Alliance.

This planet is characterized by the great diversity of landscapes it contains, just as it is in the Earth.

Azeroth has mountains, deserts, cities, forests and completely desolate places, even, the atmosphere of Azeroth is very similar to that of the Earth, it is possible to believe that we could live in Azeroth, that would be great!

Economy:  In this world, money is used as we do. There are two types. the currency of The Alliance and the currency of The Horde.

Silver coins –  Also known as silver pieces or s.
Gold coins –  Also known as gold pieces or g.

Following, there is a map of the know places in Azeroth...

There are four major continents in the Azeroth with a lot of island around them. The Great Sea is located in between the four continents, and in the center of this Sea is located the Maelstrom, a massive chaotic whirlpool what is left of the ancient Well of Eternity.

 To the east lies the Eastern Kingdoms, which is made up of three major regions. Azeroth to the south, Khaz Modan in the middle, and Lordaeron to the north, these last two separated by a channel and connected by the dwarven bridge of Thandol Span. 

To the west, across the ocean, is Kalimdor, which is also divided into three regions. 

North of the sea lies the frozen continent of Northrend.

To the south the newly discovered landmass of Pandaria, which had been isolated and shrouded by dense mists during the last 10,000 years. The islands of Zandalar, Kul Tiras, and the Broken Isles have been of major importance in recent events.
